French speaking Transaction Lawyers (m/f/x)

• Close contact with our colleagues in France
• Providing support in legal due diligence and in the organisation and coordination of transaction processes
• Organisation and involvement in analyses of documents/pieces of evidence for national and international large-scale proceedings in competition and civil law and internal investigations (E-Searches)
• Preparing, processing and drafting transaction documents (such as confidentiality agreements and powers of attorney)
• Compiling and managing annexes to agreements
• Collaborating with our Legal Tech/Innovation team

• Successfully earned a law degree (LL.B, LL.M, foreign qualified lawyer etc.)
• Fluent in English and French (spoken and written)
• Knowledge of German is desirable but not required
• Familiar with common MS Office applications
• Organisational talent and ability to work in interdisciplinary and cross-border teams

• Working in an international environment in our Freshfields Hub with locations in Germany, UK and Hong Kong (e.g. collaboration with mandate teams of all practice groups at various locations)
